Messy Feelings Craft Series: A Grown Up Process Based Art Class

from $30.00

3 Wednesdays in June, 6 – 8 PM, at Awesome Brooklyn
(653 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11225)

This June, textile artist Ellie d’Eustachio brings her sold out toddler process art classes to grown ups only. Come play with unusual materials, experiment with color and texture, and make delightfully weird art in a joyful, low pressure environment.

There are no rules, no required skill level, and absolutely no expectation to make “good” art. This series is about curiosity, silliness, experimentation, and reconnecting with the creative process.

We’ll provide art supplies, snacks, drinks, music, and prompts. Take your creations home or leave them behind. This is about the experience, not the outcome.

Perfect for artists, non-artists, burned out adults, crafty weirdos, and anyone craving a little more play.

June 10 • Beads! Lanyards! Tiny Plastic Treasures!

Friendship bracelets, glow in the dark geckos, woven lanyards, Perler beads, camp core nostalgia, and chaotic summer craft energy. Make charms for your tote bag, keychain, or inner child.

June 17 • Is It a Stamp?

A grown up version of Ellie’s most beloved and ridiculous toddler class. We’ll make vivid prints and patterns using tortilla presses, salad spinners, toy cars, potato mashers, fly swatters, pompoms, and other extremely scientific art tools.

Expect mess. Expect joy. Expect surprisingly beautiful postcards.

June 24 • Cardboard Class

An ode to the world’s greatest art material: cardboard. Collage tiny altars to things you love, paint neon 3D flowers, or make cat shaped picture frames. We’ll transform recycled materials into playful little worlds.

The world is your oyster. Or your cardboard box.

No experience necessary. All materials included.
