Stories & Art - TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Spring Session: Stories & Art
Looking for a creative way to wrap up the day? Join Ellie for a playful, variety-filled art class inspired by story time!
Spark your child’s imagination with a book read aloud followed by a related, process-focused art project. Designed for kids ages 2 - 5, each afternoon will offer 2 - 3 craft projects inspired by the themes, illustrations, and words of children’s books.
Led by local textile and street artist Ellie d'Eustachio, this afternoon class builds fine motor skills while sparking joy, creativity, and connection.
Location: Collective Kind - 511 Rogers Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225
Time: Tuesdays 4-4:45pm
Dates: 7 days: April 14th, 21st, 28th, May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
Cost: Single classes - $30/child and supervising adult
Multi-packs - $25/child and supervising adult per class
Teacher: Ellie d’Eustachio. I am a local textile artist with a background in theatre, public art, and early childhood development. My local yarn-based street art is inspired by the creativity of childhood. This class will allow young children to get messy and explore different methods of self expression.
*This class is appropriate for 2 and up with some wiggle room. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children will be offered materials such as paint, markets, crayons, paper and should be able to participate with minimal tasting. Please wear clothes you’re happy to get messy in. Major chocking hazards will be avoided but caretaker supervision is required.
