Learn to Knit Slugs (virtual class)
Learn to Knit Slugs (virtual class)
A virtual knitting class meant to offer community, experiment with freeform knitting, and make a large, slug friend.
Join Ellie of Made By Ellie BKLYN on Google Meet for a 2-session class concluding with a completely unique, large knit slug.
Class participants will receive a pattern and get an inside look at Ellie’s improvisational approach to knitting. Learn to take a pattern and run in your own direction. Slugs will be knit in the round on double-pointed needles, using short rows for shaping. These techniques will be taught in class but some experience with them would be ideal.
Students will provide their own materials (see below).
Class is pay-what-you can with a suggested cost of $30 - $40 per session. But please don’t let cost be a barrier, I’d happily welcome you at no cost or whatever your budget can accommodate. Attendance at both meetings is not vital and support will be offered to participants via email.
Location: Virtual Class
Time: 8:00 - 9:30 PM EDT
Dates: Friday, March 27th & Tuesday, March 31st
Price: Pay what you can (Payments can be made via Venmo or Zelle. More information will be sent via email after signup)
