To start 2026, and to exist through wave after wave of devastating global news, I took my knitting practice to another level.

Knitting is inherently repetitive; the same stitch repeated thousands of times, slowly building something small and tangible. For five weeks I knit the same stuffed slug again and again. Each one follows a pattern in my head, but the colors and details emerge in the moment, making every slug both similar and completely unique.

Enjoy these strange little companions on their own, keep one in your coat pocket as a secret reminder of calm, or gift one to someone going through a difficult time.

Each slug measures approximately 2–3 inches long and is knit from 100% wool. Every slug comes with a hand-stamped linoleum block print.
