Fix it Flatbush is a special program at the Flatbush Library aimed at creating community connections and sustainable practices through crafting and mending. In this workshop, I will walk us through creative ways to upcycle thrift store sweaters, from patching to alterations to darning to recycling the yarn provide tips for how to give new life to old sweaters. We'll talk all about repairing, resizing and repurposing your knits. Bring an old sweater from your closet that you’d like to refresh or repurpose and get started on a new project.
